Barn Swallow Fields offers a grand countryside event experience, where open skies, natural beauty, and thoughtful design come together to create a truly unforgettable celebration. Hosting events from late May through October, this venue is ideally suited for guest counts up to 140 and beyond, offering space for both expansive celebrations and meaningful moments shared with ease.
Barn Swallow Fields features a dedicated outdoor ceremony space surrounded by the beauty of the farm, an inviting outdoor cocktail area with access to our signature Bin Bar, and a beautifully appointed indoor dining space complete with tables, chairs, and washroom facilities.
Every element has been designed to create a seamless flow throughout your day, allowing guests to move comfortably between ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner while staying fully immersed in the experience.
The Gathering House offers a more intimate experience, where warmth, connection, and quiet elegance define the day. Hosting celebrations from late May through October, and also welcoming off-season events in November, December, March, and April, this venue is ideally suited for guest counts under 40.
The Gathering House features its own outdoor ceremony space, an inviting outdoor cocktail area with access to the Bin Bar, and a refined indoor dining space complete with tables, chairs, and washroom facilities. Every detail is designed to support a seamless flow from ceremony to celebration, all within a setting that feels both grounded and beautifully considered.

A natural host with a deep love of people, food, beauty, and the countryside, she has an instinct for creating spaces that make people want to stay a little longer.Her style is unmistakably her own. Vintage finds, romantic florals, rich textures, collected pieces, and a touch of nostalgia come together with an ease that feels thoughtful rather than styled. Dana believes the most beautiful spaces should have soul, and that the smallest details often leave the greatest impression.That philosophy is woven throughout Thatcher Farms. Barn Swallow Fields and The Gathering House are an extension of Dana herself, warm, welcoming, beautifully considered, and made for bringing people together. For her, it has never been simply about creating beautiful venues. It is about setting the scene for long tables, wonderful food, meaningful conversation, laughter, celebration, and the kind of moments people carry with them long after the evening ends.
